At McDonald’s Corporate transparency is everything. We worked with our global communications team to build brand awareness to drive trust and affinity across our social channels. To do this we established a new branding look that would be ownable for the Corporate side of the brand and a tone & voice that resembles our employees…conversational, informative & cheerful. Our goal was to create engaging content that also provided honest information about corporate initiatives.
This was a huge success! Since the launch of this new strategic approach, followers increased by 126% & the engagement rate increased by 78%.

To further evolve the McDonald’s brand it was important to also evolve the photography. We had a series of US and global shoots to do this by capturing more in the moment, real and relatable shots. There was an extra emphasis on Gen Z and capturing their style and group hang mentality. Movement was another key theme, as our restaurants are busy as are our customers who are always on the go.
